We are currently running lantern workshops here at CRAG, in all the local schools, a range of community groups are also involved, and we look forward to seeing all the creations at the Lantern Parade!

This year’s event…

The River of Light Parade

26th October, the Walking Parade will set out from the Glendoune Community Centre to Girvan Shorefront. Leaving at 6:45pm and arriving at roughly 7:15pm.

Schools

We have participants from Girvan Primary School, Girvan Academy, Sacred Heart and Invergarvan Schools.

Youth organisations

The event is open to local youth organisations including The Scouts, Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, Girl Guides and Brownies.

Adult organisations working with Crag Community Arts and working from the Wee School Art Space also can come to participate.

Community Workshops

Our FREE Community Workshops run every Wednesday and Saturday starting on the 20th of September and ending on the 14th of October; 10am-5pm Saturdays, Wednesdays 6pm-8pm.
